Dr. Nebel advises (inter)national energy suppliers and plant operators, banks and investors, companies in energy-intensive industries and the real estate industry on energy law issues. In addition to traditional energy regulatory law and renewable energies, his focus is on energy efficiency law and supporting decentralised and urban energy concepts.

Dr. Nebel specialises in advising on public law issues, in particular advising developers on the planning and approval of complex infrastructure projects as well as in planning and approval procedures under building and environmental law. Another focus is advising companies in the real estate industry on public law. Dr. Nebel is recommended as a leading lawyer for environmental and planning law (Who’s Who Legal Germany (2018)).

Dr. Nebel is a lecturer in energy law at the Humboldt University in Berlin.
