Since May 2018

Ms Post works for Brahms, Nebel & Kollegen. She advises project developers, operators, energy suppliers, banks and investors as well as the public sector on all legal issues in connection with the development and operation, acquisition and sale, financing and corporate structuring of energy projects, in particular in the field of wind and solar energy, heat supply and storage technologies. She also advises her clients on regulatory and energy law issues in connection with grid connection, the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG), subsidies within the framework of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the digitization of the energy industry and represents their interests in and out of court.

One of her main areas of practice is advising French clients in the German legal area. For cross-border project developments, transactions, financing and investments on the German-French energy market, Ms. Post advises her clients in French and has partner law firms in France with which she has established a trustworthy relationship over many years.

In addition, Ms. Post regularly publishes specialist articles on current topics of energy law and gives lectures at relevant conferences.

 

Between November 2010 and May 2018

As an attorney in a law firm in Berlin specializing in renewable energy law, Ms. Post advised her clients comprehensively in all legal issues in this field and was active in various legal areas. She accompanied investors and project developers in the acquisition and sale of energy projects and in the implementation of project financing, in particular for larger wind farms. She also advised on the corresponding due diligences and carried out corporate structures. In addition, she drafted and negotiated general contractor contracts, contracts for work and services and supply contracts as well as contracts for the use of real estate.

Between August 2008 and August 2010

She completed her legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, including stations at the Court of Justice of the European Union and in an international law firm in Paris. There she already gained first experiences in legal advice in the field of renewable energies in the cross-border German-French market.

Between September 2006 and July 2008

For two years, Mrs. Post was a lecturer in German law at the Institut de Droit Comparé de Paris of the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and held lectures and tutorials on German law, comparative law and German legal culture. Furthermore, she conducted comparative research on commercial agents law and university systems.
